Realty Income, also known as The Monthly Dividend Company®, is an S&P 500 company and a member of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats® index. Our goal is to deliver dependable monthly dividends that increase over time. Our story
Realty Income was founded by William and Joan Clark in 1969, in Escondido, California. The goal was simple—generate a reliable monthly income for investors. Our real estate portfolio started with a single Taco Bell property sale-leaseback acquisition that year and has grown to *#number-of-properties-rounded#* properties in *#geographies#*.
In 1994, we began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol “O” and have since reached many significant milestones. By acquiring high-quality real estate leased to industry-leading operators while maintaining a conservative balance sheet, we’ve grown our enterprise value to more than *#enterprise-value#* since being listed on the NYSE.
